Why Is a School Bus Needed?
Children who want to continue their education past the 9th grade must travel over 12 miles to another community. Transportation is costly. Monthly costs are 200 Quetzal for transportation and 250 Quetzal for tuition. This equates to $64 per child which represents 70% of most families' monthly income.
